Allison Harvey

President

Allison Harvey is a Clover native graduate of Clover High School (Class of 1989). She then attended the University of South Carolina, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration.

In December 2025, Allison was able to retire after 28 years of public service. She was the Town Administrator for the Town of Clover for over 18 years and for the Town of Kiawah Island for 8 years. She gave two reasons for leaving the paradise of Kiawah: the opportunity to serve her hometown of Clover and to be able to raise her daughter Maggie closer to family. 

Allison has been a member of the Clover Rotary Club since 2007 and has served as President, Sergeant at Arms and Committee Chair. She served on numerous boards and committees throughout her career including as Vice Chair of the SC Municipal Insurance Reserve Fund Board and board member of Palmetto Pride. She served on the boards of the United Way of York County, Clover YMCA, Greater Clover Chamber of Commerce, South Carolina Community Development Association and Eat Smart, Move More York County. 

As a retiree, Allison enjoys working part-time for Clover Foods, pickleball, reading and traveling (especially to visit her daughter Maggie and grand-dog Dolly in Washington DC).
