Community Grant Objectives

The Club desires to fund projects that will provide a long-term benefit and support the areas of focus: Youth, Education, Seniors, Literacy, Environment, and Community Benefit.

Priority will be given for requests that:

• serve a large number of people;

• is not essentially a passthrough to another organization; and

• are tangible or capital items (e.g., materials, equipment, furniture, appliances, building improvements).

Personnel costs may only be up to 25% of the project cost. General operating or maintenance expenses will not be funded. The Clover Rotary Club has its own scholarship program; therefore, grants will not be awarded for scholarships to educational institutions.

Clover Rotary funds the Community Grant through fundraisers and a matching grant from Rotary District 7750.   The grant is a reimbursement for expenses.  Receipts will be required.  **The Grant cannot pay for expenses incurred prior to final grant approval.
