William Stuart Thompson

Stuart was born in Odessa, Texas but moved to North Carolina at a young age. His mother was born and raised in Shelby, NC and his father, in Clover, SC. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BFA concentration in Graphic Design. Before coming onboard with Edward Jones Investments in 2019, he served for over twenty years as art director and designer in a wide variety of mediums, including magazines, textiles and websites.

Stuart began working with Edward Jones in Landrum, SC and then transitioned to the Clover branch in 2023 after local veteran financial advisor, Jim Hayes, retired. What he enjoys most is getting to know the area's people and helping them financially plan for the most important dreams in life.

Stuart's past and present passions in life are working in the mission field, rehabilitating special needs dogs, automobile projects, hiking and kayaking. He moved back to the area from Rutherford County last year and is incredibly excited living in his "new" historic home just across the road from miles of hiking trails.
