DR. SHELIA QUINN

Dr. Sheila B. Quinn was named by the Clover School District Two Board of Trustees as Superintendent on February 7, 2018. She began her service on July 1, 2018 and is completing her 8th year as superintendent.
Prior to her arrival, Dr. Quinn served as the State Deputy Superintendent of Education for Innovation and Effectiveness for the South Carolina Department of Education. She also worked as worked as Clover’s Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Administrative Services from 2010 to 2014. During her initial tenure in Clover, she served as President of the Instructional Leaders Roundtable for the South Carolina Association of School Administrators and was named District Administrator of the year for that organization.
Dr. Quinn holds a B.A. in English and Secondary Education from Winthrop University; a M.A. in Education Administration from Winthrop University, and an Ed.D from Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Quinn has also worked as an adjunct professor in the master's and doctoral programs for Educational Leadership at Gardner-Webb and Winthrop University.
In addition to her Clover School District responsibilities, Dr. Quinn has been an active member of Clover Rotary Club, Lake Wylie Lions Club, Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce, and York County Early Learning Partnership, Clemson University Board of Visitors, Renaissance Learning Advisory Panel, and Consortium of School Networking Advisory Panel. In 2023, she was named as a Superintendent to Watch by the National School Public Relations Association.
Dr. Quinn is married to Dr. Jamie Quinn and they have two children, Ashby and Blackmon Huckabee.
